Kenyatta University’s Blakblad RFC handed Nondescript RFC a 17-32 loss in the return leg keeping their survival hopes alive. Blakblad’s 20-17 win over Impala Saracens boosted their hopes to remain in the top tier league a fortnight ago and today’s win over Nondies complemented this.

In Kakamega, Kenya Harlequins bounced back to their winning ways after securing their much needed 28-16 win over the Western Bulls at the Bull Ring. Lyle Asiligwa opened up the scores for Quins as he snuck in a drop goal before his counterparts David Ambunya and Pius Shiundu went over the whitewash giving quins a 13-8 lead at the breather. In the second half, Bulls added an extra eight points while Quins scored three extra tries, all unconverted, to secure their much-needed victory.

In Nakuru, KCB managed to outperform a stubborn Top Fry Nakuru RFC beating them 31-18 at the Nakuru Athletics Club. The Bankers retain their second position on the overall log with this victory while Kabras maintain their peak position. Kabras bagged their five points at the Impala Grounds by beating the hosts 37-26. Impala, however, picked up a losing bonus point by virtue of landing four tries in this encounter.

At the Moi Showgrounds Nakuru, Homeboyz RFC who were trailing 11-14 got Menengai Oilers dancing to their tune in the second half by landing 26 points against the hosts to secure their 37-14 win.

In Kisumu, Stanbic Mwamba beat hosts Kisumu RFC 50-32 to keep their playoffs’ hopes alive.
