The Kenya Cup Week ten double header will be hosted at the KCB Sports Club Ruaraka as fifth place Stanbic Mwamba takes on Mean Machine. Constant Cap is the man tasked with officiating this match that kicks off at 2:00pm. Machine are ranked last on the log with five points to their name while Stanbic Mwamba are fifth with 27 points which come off five wins and four losses.
Victor Oduor who got his World Rugby Level 3 Accredited Match Official certificate will take charge of the KCB-Impala encounter at 4:00pm. Resolution Impala Saracen’s last visit to the Lions’ den ended in a 15-0 win to the hosts during the 2017/2018 Kenya Cup semifinal match. The two sides are ranked second and seventh respectively on the log, KCB with 40 points while Impala have 25.
Beryl Akinyi will officiate the Blakblad vs Kenya Harlequins match at the Kenyatta University grounds. These two sides are separated by 20 points as hosts are tenth on the table with eleven points while Quins are third with 31 points.
At the Polo Grounds, Emmanuel Marete will be the man with the whistle when Nondescript RFC take on Strathmore Leos. Nondies who have had a good start in the season so far, are ranked fourth. They are the only team that can boast of beating the defending Champions, KCB since the 2016/2017 Kenya Cup season. They also stunned the Top Fry Nakuru team last weekend at the NAC when they won that match 33-32 ending their four-year hiatus of a win at that venue.
Godwin Karuga has been tasked with officiating the Nakuru Derby as Top Fry Nakuru welcome the Menengai Oilers to the Nakuru Athletics Club. The two sides are ranked eighth and ninth respectively, separated by just four points. Nakuru have 18 points while Oilers have gathered a total of 14 points so far in the league.
Doughlas Ngetich will take charge of the Kakamega match when Kabras Sugar RFC take on Menengai Cream Homeboyz RFC at the ASK Kakamega Showgrounds. Kabras have proved to be the best team in the league thus far, going by the standings table. They’ve won all their nine matches and have managed to pick up eight of the possible nine bonus points. They sit at the top of the table with 44 points while Homeboyz are sixth with 26 points.
