Menengai Cream Homeboyz survived a late Strathmore Leos rally to pull off a 22-18 result, and with that, win the Plate Title at the Impala Floodlit Rugby tournament on Saturday evening.

Other fixtures played on the last day of the Kenya Cup pre-season warm up tournament saw Laiser Hill hold on to their schools crown after beating Ofafa Jericho 21-15 as Thika Road edged Ngong Road 10-8 to win the newly introduced women’s competition.
