As the top tier teams take a break from rugby action this weekend, the Nationwide league will have action across the country. The Nairobi region Clubs teams will have Sportpesa Quins III taking on COMRAS RFC at the RFUEA ground while their neighbours Impala III will be hosting Masaku. Northern Suburbs’ match against Eastlanders will be at the KCB sports club and Makueni versus Ngong RFC will be at the Kibiko Secondary.
Central and Rift Valley will have their week 14 matches taking place. In the central region Leaders Embu RFC welcome Karatina University, Kiambu RFC will travel to Nanyuki to meet the Jackals at the Nanyuki Sports Club. A Varsity clash between Dedan Kimathi and Zetech rugby will be faced off at Kimathi University while Chuka Vikings make their journey to Murang’a to play Murang’a RFC.
Rift Valley region will have a battle of the top four with first place Menengai Oilers playing the second place Eldoret RFC at the Nakuru Athletics Club while third place Eldoret Falcons travel to Egerton to meet fourth place and hosts Egerton Wasps. Other fixtures in the region on this day are Kericho against Kapsabet at Kericho and Nakuru Kiti against KPA Eldoret at the Molo Grounds.
The Western Region will have two fixtures: Kakamega Welfare taking on Webuye RFC in a venue that is yet to be decided while Bungoma RFC host their regional leaders Masinde Muliro University.
All matches in the four regions will kick off at 3:00pm in their respective venues.
Coast region carries on with it dual double header schedule at Wundanyi Stadium and Malindi High School. The match between Shoxxs RFC and Shepherds RFC will kick off at 2:00pm at Wundanyi Stadium followed by Spartans against Coast Raiders which kicks off at 4:00pm. At Malindi High School, Taita Taveta University will take on Pwani Sharks RC at 2:00pm while the Malindi RFC versus Technical University of Mombasa match will kick off at 4:00pm.
