A commanding first half performance saw hosts Resolution Impala Saracens reach the cup semifinals at the Impala Floodlit tournament with a 34-15 result over the Strathmore Leos on Saturday 1 October 2016 at the Impala Club.
The hosts raced into a 21-0 lead at the interval, Duncan Ekasi opening the proceedings with a try , Sammy Oliech adding the extras for a 7-0 lead before Anthony Nyandigisi made it 12-0, Quinto Ongo’s conversion seeing the Sarries go 14-0 up.

Gabriel Adero’s try brought the Leos to within nine points of the Sarries before Ongo and Juma traded penalties, the score board now reading 24-15.
