The 2024/2025 Kenya Cup season fixtures have been officially released by the Kenya Rugby Union Competitions Department. The league will kick off on 16th November with very exciting matches; newly promoted Impala will square it off against the defending three-peat champions Kabras Sugar. Runners-up KCB RC are at home where they face the South Coast Pirates.
Kenyatta University’s Blakblad welcomes Nakuru RFC in what has over the years, turned into a fixture that keeps all fans at the edge of their seats. The Kenya Harlequin will host Mwamba RFC in their opening match while Nondies take on the Strathmore Leos. In Nakuru, Menengai Oilers will host Kisumu RFC.
This will be South Coast Pirates first appearance in the Kenya Cup league since their inception into the Kenya Rugby Union, while Impala have been competing in the KRU Championship league for the last two seasons. They made their return to the top league at the end of the 2023/2024 league.
