Adrian Opondo starts in the unlikeliest of positions, slotting in at fullback as Mitch Ocholla named his match day 23 for Saturday’s Kenya Cup opener against Menengai Cream Homeboyz at the Impala Club.
Opondo has traditionally been deployed as a loose forward and will be in the company of fellow backrow Elton Isiaho who starts at inside center for the Leos.
Simbas captain Brian Nyikuli skippers the side and he is in his all too familiar blindside flank position ( at least Ocholla didn’t blindside anyone with that selection J ), partnering Carlwilliams Odhiambo and new signing Elkeans Musonye in the backrow.
