No, not the TV Show, but the duel between Nondescripts’s “Red Lions  and  KCB’s Lions in a Kenya Cup match day 11 fixture at the RFUEA Grounds on Saturday 13 February 2016.
Both sides are experiencing patchy seasons, host Nondies sitting ninth on the table and with the matches coming thick and fast, desperately chasing a playoff berth when at the close of the regular season on April 16. The Red Lion rattled second placed Kenya Harlequin last weekend, leading 16-14 at half time before going down 21-35. They will surely look to build from last weekend’s performance and take the fight to the bankers. Key for Kanyi Gitonga’s backs will be the dynamic trio of EvansMusili, Marvin Sumba and Fielden Sinei as well as the midfield pairing of Teddy Salano and Joel Maingi. Throw in Enock Makingavand Richard Karani and voila, Nondies have a potent backline that will however have to count on the experience and leadership of Odi Owino and Joseph Wachira in the forwards to get things going for them.

Defending champions KCB are in indifferent form this campaign, sitting third, having been severely put under the microscope and showing several chinks in their armor. They warmed up for this clash with a match day ten 58-0 win over Thika and will need to assert themselves against their hosts.

Curtis Olago returns to his preferred second row pairing of John Ahenda and Oliver Mang’eni while handing a debut to  former Homeboyz scrum half Michael Wanjala, part of a half back combination that features Kenny Andola at fly half. Rocky Aguko returns from an injury enforced spell to slot in at blindside, part of a backrow that features Elly Mukaisi at openside and Peter Waitere at number eight.
