It’s semifinal Saturday in the Enterprise Cup, two fixtures on the cards in Nairobi and Kakamega respectively.
Defending champions KCB are at home to Menengai Cream Homeboyz at the KCB Sports Club in Ruaraka. The bankers come into this clash buoyed by last weekend’s 53-7 quarterfinal win over Stanbic Mwamba and will be looking to inch closer to claiming a seventh title. Homeboyz, beaten finalists against the same opponent in 2016 reached the last four having taken a slightly longer route, starting their campaign with a 12-11 pre-quarterfinal win over SportPesa Quins before defeating Jamhuri Park co-tenants Nondescripts 31-11 last weekend.
The second semifinal sees last year’s beaten finalists Kabras Sugar host Resolution Impala Saracens at the ASK Showground in Kakamega. The hosts set up this meeting with a 38-10 win over Blak Blad as the Sarries overcame a spirited Top Fry Nakuru 24-15.
The Enterprise Cup final will be played on Saturday 5 May 2018 at the RFUEA Ground.
