Menengai Cream Homeboyz may have picked up a bonus point in falling to that solitary point defeat at the hands of Pan Africa Strathmore Leos on Saturday 27 February 2016, but as the tabulations after match day thirteen indicate that they were indeed the weekend’s biggest losers, tumbling from fourth to eighth place as a result of the 25-26 home defeat to the Leos who rose into the top four at their expense.
Yeah, yeah, yeah…the Kenya Sharks fell 15-110 to Top Fry Nakuru, but they were propping the league standings heading into match day 13, and the result in Bungoma only consolidated their brief as the league’s cellar dwellers.
It was indeed a peculiar match day whose highlight was the inability of all the host teams to win their fixtures.
There were no changes in the top three, the leading trio of Resolution Impala Saracens,KCB and Kenya Harlequin all staying put on the log.
The Sarries handed Blak Blad an 81-0 whitewash to stay top while defending champions KCB were too strong for Western Bulls, posting a 36-8 win in Kakamega to stay second. Kenya Harlequin posted a 45-12 result over Mean Machine to stay third.
.Top Fry Nakuru’s 110-15 bombardment of the Kenya Sharks in Bungoma lifted them into fifth while Mwamba went sixth with a 31-8 result away to Thika.
Kabras Sugar finally moved up the table standings, the 47-8 win away to Nondescripts lifting them up to seventh.
