Action continues in the Kenya Cup on Saturday 7 August 2021 with a total of four matches on the cards.
The Nandi Bears Club will play host to the clash of the season when hosts Kabras Sugar host defending champions KCB in the 3.00pm kickoff.
The two sides boast unbeaten records but it is KCB who sit atop the standings having amassed 38 points from their 8 wins so far. They are 8 points clear of second placed Kabras Sugar who have 30 points from 6 wins in 6 matches and Saturday’s clash is expected to be as lively as they come.
The last time these two sides met was on Saturday 30 November 2019 during the COVID-19 disrupted 2019/20 season, Kabras winning 19-6 at Ruaraka, their first ever win over KCB since their promotion to the top flight at the start of the 2014/15 season.
The sugarmen, who were last in action during the 38-9 win over Menengai Oilers on 24 July, have been rampant to date/ They have won their games with an average scoreline of 43-7 and will be out to dominate their opponents who warmed up for this clash with a 26-13 victory over Top Fry Nakuru on 31 July.
This match will be preceded by the varsity clash between Masinde Muliro and Blak Blad that kicks off at 1.00pm at the same venue.
