The 2024/2025 Kenya cup season commenced on the twenty third November 2024 featuring six games across the country.Eight time Kenya cup champions KCB were the biggest winners of the day after thrashing newbies South Coast Pirates 88-05 at the Den in Ruaraka.Menengai Oilers also managed a big win after beating Kisumu RFC 76-13.Kabras Sugar utilised home advantage beating Impala 33-06 after a heavy downpour at the forest.Ngong road sides Kenya Harlequins and Nondescripts also managed to pick wins on match day one after beating Mwamba and Strathmore Leos 55-22 and 22-16 respectively.
The ESS side had four walkovers after some teams were unable to honor the fixtures.Kenya Harlequins were the biggest winners after a dominant 70-03 win against Mwamba.Nondescripts also secured a 44-00 win against Strathmore Leos.
In the championship,Daystar Falcons were among the biggest winners of the day after beating UoE Trojans 67-06.JKUAT cougars continued their winning streak from match day one after a 35-05 win over TUM Marines.Three time Kenya cup champions Mean Machine seem to be facing a challenging opening to the season after they lost their second game to Homeboyz.MMUST had a good outing against USIU-A Martials in an entertaining match that ended 71-17 in favour of MMUST.
