KCB stayed top of the Kenya Cup with a 24-3 victory over Blak Blad in the early kick off match day five action at the KCB Sports Club in Ruaraka on Saturday 7 January 2023.
The side led 12-0 at the interval through tries from Wilfred Waswa and Martin Owilah with Darwin Mukidza adding a conversion.
Mukidza would then score and convert his own try for a 19-0 lead after the restart with Johnstone Olindi going over the whitewash to score the bonus point try for the bankers who made it five wins from five matches, garnering their fifth successive bonus point in their fifth successive win to take their points tally to 25 points, guaranteeing them league leadership heading into match day six on Saturday 14 January.
Blad scored a late consolation penalty.
