The quest for the Top Six playoffs hits fever pitch this weekend when Kenya Cup match day 18 takes place at various venues around the country.
The two fixtures that stand out will be played at the Nairobi Railway Club where hosts Mwamba play Pan Africa Strathmore Leos and the RFUEA Ground where Kenya Harlequin are up against Top Fry Nakuru.
Mwamba eighth but come into this clash in fine fettle, more so after last weekend’s 13-7 over KCB at the sodden Madaraka grounds kept them in the hunt for a top six finish. The Leos also laid their claim for a top six finish with that gritty 15-10 result over Top Fry Nakuru.
Kenya Harlequin predictably annihilated the Kenya Sharks 91-6 to go top of the log and will look to post another win over Top Fry Nakuru. Apart from consolidating league leadership, Quins will be out to avenge the 43-14 mauling away to Nakuru on February 20.
