There are two rescheduled matches on the cards as the Kenya Cup continues this weekend.
Mwamba play against defending champions KCB at the RFUEA Ground in a fixture originally set for Saturday 18 December 2021 while Kabras Sugar are at home to Nondescripts in a fixture that was originally set for Saturday 8 January 2022.
Mwamba come into their tie against KCB placed sixth on the log with 14 points from 7 outings, having seen their recent three match winning streak halted lasted weekend when they fell to a 31-14 away defeat to struggling Resolution Impala Saracens at the Impala Club.
Kevin Wambua’s charges will be hard pressed to stop the free scoring KCB who have managed to put an average of 41 points past their opponents in their last four outings.
KCB, currently placed third with 31 points from 7 matches, will be looking to stay unbeaten and make the most of this game in hand to entrench themselves in the automatic semifinal slots as the league phase draws to a close.
Record champions Nondescripts are firmly entrenched at the bottom of the log and their work doesn’t get any easier with a fixture away to Kabras Sugar. The 17 time champions have won just one of their outings and will facing an uncompromising Kabras squad that will relish the opportunity to claim points from this fixture and return to the league summit ahead of match day nine on Saturday 12 Feburary 2022.
