Stanbic Mwamba registered their first win of the 2018/2019 season on Saturday 8th December at the Jamhuri Showgrounds as they beat Nondescripts 13-12.
Kulabu was leading 10-0 at the stroke with tries from Felix Otieno and Greg Odhiambo. With ten minutes left into the match, a Nondies infringement in their 22 saw Mwamba opt to boot in the three points and Eugene Nzioka did not disappoint as he split the posts giving Mwamba the one-point lead that they held onto till the referee called it full time.
At the RFUEA Grounds, a very spirited Mean Machine suffered a 19-22 loss to Resolution Impala Saracens. The two teams were leveled at 19 all but a last minute penalty against Machine saw Impala boot in three points securing their fourth consecutive win.The second match at the RFUEA Grounds saw KCB beat the Kenya Harlequins 22-13.
