Former Kenya international Xavier Kipngétich is set to make his Mwamba debut after being named in their match day squad for Saturday’s Kenya Cup match day fixture at home to the Menengai Oilers.

Kipng’etich,a Maseno School alumnus, has also been previously capped at Kenya U20 level and joins the black shirts from Kenya Harlequin after starting his club career at Impala.

He is slotted in at fly half, part of a half back pairing with Moses Keragori as former Kenya U20 center Felix Chacha and Apollo Owino pair up in midfield with Watulo Edwin, Mutugi Brian and Daniel Taabu completing the back three.

Deus Mudaki, Brian Kahura and Paul Opiyo start upfront with Ian Wamalwa and George Omolla linked up in the second row.

Collins Odhiambo, Humphrey Warui and Steve Sakari complete the Mwamba backrow.

Kulabu will be looking for their first win this season following last weekend’s 16-24 loss away to Kenyatta University Blak Blad.

The clash against Oilers kicks off at 12.00pm at the Impala Club
