A significant weekend is on the horizon in the KRU Championship as the leading teams face challenging tests during match day six on Saturday, January 27, 2024. The South Coast Pirates, currently undefeated and holding the top spot, will be on the road to take on third-placed Daystar Falcons in Athi River. Second-placed Impala will travel to Kakamega to compete against fourth-placed Masinde Muliro.
While Daystar Falcons and Masinde Muliro are currently unable to break into the top two positions, a victory over their opponents could narrow the gap and potentially intensify the competition for the leading position and home semifinal qualification as the regular season draws to a close.
In other matchups, Mombasa, occupying eighth position, will host tenth-placed USIU Martials at Khamisi High School, while Mean Machine, positioned at the bottom of the table and still in search of their first win this season, will face Kabarak University in a crucial fixture at the UoN Ground.
Additionally, ninth-placed JKUAT Cougars will play against the University of Eldoret Trojans at home in Juja.
