Pan Africa Asset Management has entered a two season sponsorship deal with Kenya Cup side Strathmore Leos. The package is valued at Ksh 8 million and will see the team renamed Pan Africa Strathmore Leos under the new arrangement.
Kenya Rugby Union Secretary Eddie Omondi, who was present at the function, said, ” This is a welcome gesture that serves to make the game bigger and better.”
Speaking at the event, Mr. Stephen Kamanda, acting group CEO said, ” The partnership we are cementing with Strathmore University today will not only see us support the development of rugby among young people, but it will also see us unveil the business potential that exists untapped between the two entities.”
Mr. Kennedy Muriithi, CEO of Pan Africa Asset Management reiterated that Pan Africa group is keen on social courses and
adding that from sport, young impressionable youth learn values like discipline, responsibility, self confidence,sacrifice,team work and accountability.
“The support that comes from the school administration and the community is essential because the young athletes require facilitation to be great athletes and thereafter appreciation for their exploits. Therefore, the more invested, the better the results and this becomes evident not only on the field, but long after they step off it.
Finally, allow me to wish the now fittingly named Pan Africa Strathmore Leos all the success this season and we believe
they will go on to better their third place finish last season and bring the cup home, ” he concluded.
This event also saw the team unveil new branded kit for its upcoming assignments.
