Defending champions Top Fry Nakuru posted a 31-13 come from behind win over hosts Resolution Impala Saracens, a result that sees them placed second on 29 points heading into the new year while KCB’s 31-6 win away at Western Bulls will see them go into the new year boasting a similar record to the Leos and Nakuru but having collected fewer bonus points than the Leos and the Wanyore.
Mwamba RFC consolidated fourth place with a narrow 22-19 win over Kenya Harlequin on Friday evening.
Other fixtures played on Saturday saw Homeboyz beat Catholic Monks 76-5, Kabras Sugar posted a 41-3 win away to Mean Machine while Blak Blad won for the first time this season, beating hosts Mombasa 28-13.
The Kenya Cup resumes on Saturday 10 January 2015.
