There should be a great game of rugby when sixth placed Mwamba host third placed Menengai Cream Homeboyz in a Kenya Cup match day 12 encounter at the Railway Club on Saturday 20 February 2016.
The last time the two sides met in Kenya Cup action was on Saturday 28 November 2015, Homeboyz pulling off a 10-8 win.
Both sides have been in a good run of form in the current campaign, Mwamba bouncing back from the 19-27 defeat to KCB on match day 8 to post three consecutive bonus point wins en route to sixth place while Homeboyz have been in a rich vein of form, although two recent defeats have shown some chinks in their armour.
Mwamba will have Dennis Ombachi and Humphrey Kayange in their ranks, linking up with the likes of Horace Otieno,Mike Agevi, Dan Sikuta and Edwin Machanje as they go in pursuit of a fourth successive win, a result that will further boost their playoff credentials.
Homeboyz have a plethora of talent in the half backs,Kelvin Masai, Augustine Lugonzo, Bernard Rotich and the wily Haroun Lubisia all up for selection, throw in Alvin Otieno, Collins Shikoli and Jeff Oluoch and one cannot help but notice it is a formidable outfit.
This match kicks off at 4.00pm
