Nairobi Region Universities
KCA narrowly edged Catholic Monks II beating 5-0. Monks did however pick up a losing bonus point.
MKU Nairobi held on to a narrow 9-7 lead over Administration Police but a last minute infringement by MKU gifted AP the win they had been yearning for. AP opted for points and they split the posts successfully for a 10-9 win. IN Athi River, Daystar Falcons bounced back to their winning ways as they beat Cooperative University Farus 15-3.

Nairobi Region Clubs: Shamas remain top of the standings table after beating Hurricanes 37-3. Second placed Swaras didn’t hold back from scoring tries when they met their opponent Vandals beating them 40-0 at the RFUEA Grounds. Comras suffered a narrow 9-11 loss in the hands of Masaku RFC. Dagoretti Bulldogs registered their fourth win of the season beating Stormers 29-13 while a late kick off match between Stingers and Ngong saw the later walk away with a 31-15 win.
Rift Valley Region: Kitale RFC beat Laikipia 16-3 in the only fixture that took place in this region. This was Kitale’s fourth win out of a possible five. Mavu and KPA Eldoret were unable to honour their fixtures against Nakuru KITI and Molo respectively awarding walkovers to the latter. The match featuring Nandi RFC and Moi University was postponed to February 2020.
Western Region: CITAM Kisumu retained their pole position in this region with a 13-7 win over third placed JOOST while the Vihiga Granites bagged their third win of the season beating ninth placed Siaya 7-0. Webuye RFC who are currently eighth on the log beat Shieywe 28-0 securing their second win in the league. Bungoma RFC benefited from a walk over as Masinde Muliro University II were unable to honour the fixture.
Central Region: Kiambu, JKUAT, Murang’a and Meru were all victorious on match day six of the Nationwide League. Kiambu edged Embu 13-8, JKUAT beat MKU Thika 10-0 while Murang’a handed Nanyuki a 0-28 loss. Two penalties were enough to secure Meru’s win over Zetech beating them 6-0.
