Total Nondies are up against Pan Africa Strathmore Leos in the opening encounter of a double header set for the Impala Club on Saturday.
Nondies come into this clash placed seventh and looking to bounce back from last weekend’s 18-14 loss to Kenya Harlequin. They were rather timid in first half action against Quins, only sparking into life in the second half but unable to get the requisite result.
They will need to put in an 80 minute performance against the Leos , stay competitive throughout the encounter as they seek to end the league leaders unbeaten run.
Key players for the red lion will include Joseph Wachira, Ben Nyambu, James Kang’ethe and Charles Kanyi.
Strathmore are firmly perched atop the standings, five bonus point wins from five outings for a cumulative 25 points. They are simply in imperious form and will be out to end the calendar year on top of the log, before facing the difficult fixtures after the Christmas break.
With players like Kenny Andola, Cyprian Kuto, George Ndemi and Brian Nyikuli in their ranks, the Leos will fancy their chances on Saturday.
