Resolution Impala Saracens stayed top of the Kenya Cup with a hard fought 19-15 win over KCB in match day 15 action at the Impala Club on Saturday 12 March.
The Sarries would lose the mercurial Nato Simiyu to injury early on but still went 10-0 up through tries from Ian Minjire and Duncan Ekasi.
KCB would cut the deficit through a penalty try, Darwin Mukidza converting before drilling home a penalty to tie the scores at 10-10 heading into the interval.
Kevin Ochami’s penalty saw the Sarries go 13-10 up but they soon fell behind, Nesta Okoch going over to put KCB 15-13 up.
The Sarries would grind out the result, Mohamed Omollo’s two penalties giving them the win.
