Former Kenya international prop and three time Kenya Cup winner with KCB (2005,2006,2007) Arthur Shikwe has been named as assistant coach at KRU Nationwide side Kitale RFC.
The club confirmed this in a statement issued by the club chair Dr. Walter Ongeti on Tuesday afternoon, saying, “Kitale Rugby Club has appointed Arthur Shikwe as the new assistant coach. Shikwe has vast experience from his playing days at KCB Rugby Club and The Simbas. “
“Now that he has relocated to his home county of Trans Nzoia, we are more than happy to utilize his vast exposure and expertise. “
The side who play in the KRU Nationwide Rift Valley regional league will be looking to make a return to the second tier KRU Championship.
