There were no changes in the top six positions on the Kenya Cup log, the status quo maintained as champions Top Fry Nakuru, second placed KCB and third placed Pan Africa Strathmore Leos all won while Kabras Sugar (4th), Mwamba (5th) and Homeboyz (6th) held their ground despite being on the losing end this past weekend.
First away win
Total Nondies registered their first away win this campaign, beating Kabras Sugar 18-16 in Kakamega, a result that makes the quest for playoff qualification all the more interesting.
The movers
The changes were in the lower half of the table, Resolution Impala Saracens moving up one place from eight to seventh after beating Blak Blad 68-7, swapping places with Kenya Harlequin who slid down one place.
Western Bulls curbed a four match losing streak, their 84-0 win over Mombasa seeing them move two places up the table from eleventh to ninth, the biggest positional change this weekend. This result sees Mombasa firmly rooted to the bottom of the table, winless and without a point after nine outings.
Mean Machine moved one place up the standings, their 17-5 win away to Catholic Monks lifting them out of the relegation zone as they moved from thirteenth to twelfth, swapping places with the Monks.
