The Nairobi based Universities competing in the KRU Nationwide league get back into action this weekend since they broke for the festival season after December 7, 2019.
Catholic University will host this region’s doubleheader as Strathmore II and Nazarene face off at 10:00 am before the host’s second-string side CUEA Monks II take on Cooperative Farus at 12:00noon. The fixture between ninth-placed TUK and seventh-placed KCA University will be played at the Cooperative University grounds at 3:00 pm as Nazarene University grounds play host to the match between the Administration Police and Multimedia University. The top of the table clash between MKU Nairobi who are top of the table and third-placed Daystar Falcons will kick off at 2:00 pm at the University of Nairobi grounds.

Action in the Central region heads into week three of 2020 action as JKUAT welcomes four teams for another Nationwide doubleheader. Zetech will have an uphill task as they take on third-placed Embu RFC at 1:00 pm before the region’s top of the table clash kicks off at exactly 3:00 pm when second-placed JKUAT takes on log leaders Kiambu Badgers. Both teams have won all their matches so far, however, JKUAT has a game in hand as they prepare for this encounter. At the Meru Polytechnic, hosts Meru RFC have a date with MKU Thika while Nanyuki Jackals take on Chuka at the Nanyuki Sports Club.

Molo RFC takes on Laikipia at the Molo Secondary, KPA Eldoret hosts Nandi RFC while the St. Joseph’s Kitale welcomes Kitale RFC and Moi University. The fixture between MAVU and Kabarak has been confirmed as a walkover in favor of Kabarak.

In the Clubs category of the Nairobi Region, only one fixture will take place as the rest of the teams are on a break. Sixth-placed Vandals RFC welcome eighth-placed Masaku RFC to the RFUEA Grounds in the 12:00 pm kick off match.
Western Region completed its league action last weekend and action between the 25th of January and the playoffs will be of all the pending matches. Coast Region will have its second festival at the Mombasa Sports Club.
