Week three of the Western Region Nationwide sees the top five teams hosting the bottom five to their backyard.
Bungoma and CITAM Kisumu sit a top the log having picked up the maximum points over the last two weekends. Bungoma’s point difference exceeds CITAM’s by twelve points placing them first and CITAM second. Despite winning both matches, third placed Maseno University is yet to pick up a bonus point, thus having a total of eight points to their name.
Bungoma welcomes seventh placed Siaya who have played one match where they suffered a loss. CITAM meets Mbale RFC who just like Siaya, have suffered a loss in the only match they have played so far while Maseno welcomes Webuye. Webuye are tenth on the log having lost both their opening matches.
Fourth placed Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University meets ninth placed Sheywe RFC while second tier Masinde Muliro plays the Vihiga Granites. The MMUST II match will curtain raise the KRU Championship encounter that features Masinde Muliro University against Eldoret RFC.
